A high school secretary was arrested for inappropriate conduct with a minor after her husband found her with a student.

According to the Union City Police Department, Alicia Hughes’s husband found her with an 18-year-old student and confronted them.
During the investigation, authorities uncovered evidence that Hughes had also engaged in a sexual relationship with a separate high school student who was 17 years old at the time.
Investigators determined that Hughes and the minor student had engaged in sexual intercourse on at least five occasions.
Hughes was arrested and charged with five counts of child seduction. She is being held at the Randolph County Jail with a $25,000 cash-only bond.
