Interstate 10 has reopened in Avondale after a deadly crash overnight.

At least two cars were involved in a crash near the Dysart Road exit late Monday just before midnight.

One person died in the crash, Arizona’s Family photojournalist at the scene was able to confirm. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Eastbound I-10 was closed overnight as the crash was investigated and cleared, but the freeway is now fully reopen.
