A man is dead after an accidental house fire in central Phoenix Thursday night.
Firefighters responded to a home on 21st Street just north of Indian School Road just after 9 p.m.
When they arrived, crews saw smoke and flames coming from the house.
Crews said they pulled one man from the house, and he was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition. He died two days later on Saturday.
The victim’s name has not been released.
Phoenix Police said it appears the fire was accidental.
